Most of my time was wasted on loading , game freezing or getting from point a to b to c, or figuring out some mechanic, selling loot, organising stuff. Time trying to reset bugs and mission glitches, and just mindless travelling to planets in hopes of discovery. I guess that's what drove me , subconsciously hoping or expecting something great would happen, but it rarely came. Also I bought a series s mainly for starfield and took 3 weeks off work for the game expecting something amazing. So I felt inclined to keep on playing.
If I can go back in time, I'd play baldurs gate 3 instead, and wait for a year till starfield gets dlc and mods.
