F-Zero will make a return when there's a big change in controlling or viewing games. F-Zero VR would be insane.

Good points, but another thing a new F-Zero would need to stand out more is have the drivers interact a little more, depending on how well they know each other in the setting and how they feel about each other. EX: Captain Falcon passing Jody Summer would make her say "Not bad." and Falcon playfully say "Show me your moves!", whereas Falcon passing Zoda would have Zoda saying "Why you!!" and Falcon saying "Don't mess with me!".
