My Point  was despite having famous actors do the HBO series they could not match the emotions and story telling of the game. basically last us  raised the bar for story telling and cinematography in videogames that not even actors could match the same emotions felt in the game.  after the release of TLOU and the large success it had, a lot more cinematic-experience story driven games have become the focus of many video game company’s. Some recent examples being Ghost of Tshuhima, RDR2, God of War 2018 etc. most will tell they never experienced a game like the last of us the first time, not even close.
