TotK really makes Switch feel dated

They couldn't even keep up with demand for the regular Switch during much of 2020-2021, so there was no reason to make a Pro.

By 2022 it was too late in the system's life for a Pro to really make sense.

So what was the reason they made a oled switch? these things take years to plan. obviously  a powerful switch with Oled would cost Nintendo a pretty penny and they would have to sell for 600$ to make the profit they making with the current models.
