The Japan release could be huge for the film. It's estimated at 48 mil after 9 days and most notably sales actually increased 35 % the second weekend, so it's probably just getting started. For comparison Frozen did a total of 250 mil in Japan while Frozen II did 120 mil. It's ahead of both atm though naturally the first one got a slower start since it wasn't some well known IP at the time.
