People who claim BOTW runs poorly on Switch forget what open world games perform like on comparable hardware, even PS4/XBO.
30fps with drops below is the norm; even highly acclaimed games like Witcher 3 and Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4 have framerate drops in demanding scenes, and that's on more powerful hardware than the Switch. Both were buggier than BOTW too.
And both those games scored in the 90s and sold tens of millions of copies.
