Yeah I'm not ruling out PS5 selling as low as 7 or even 6 million units in Japan (to actual Japanese consumers). But the current physical top 30's are misleading. Next year should be interesting.

pretty much, next year is probably going to be the first year the console isn't supply constrained in japan.

what is funny to think about is that the switch has always been supply constrained one way or another for its entire life in japan lol, the fact that it sold over 25mil and counting and STILL is somewhat constrained is something.
