Hmm, I probably should say also: I did consider the SteamDeck. I do like my toys that make lights and sound. But I didn't consider it for long. Because - SteamDeck actually is missing an important part of the appeal of Switch: playing in docked mode. Now people may argue: but you have a PC anyway, right? Yes, and that means I need SteamDeck much less. And SteamDeck is even worse for mobile play than Switch already is, which is as I said already a downgrade for mobile play compared ot the 3DS.
So in the end the value presentation of SteamDeck is: a console missing the docked feature and the other half the mobile play is strongly disincentivized for me, because it is so big. Which leaves the SteamDeck actually with not a lot of value. I probably would play it twice for the novelty and then ignore. As I already have a PC.
