There was this brand-power and legacy with the WiiU? Nope, I don't buy into it. Switch sells better, because it offers more value for most people. Yes, for some people Steam Deck offers more value. But the sales chart are dominated by other people than these.

Have you checked if actually all the games run without hitch on SteamDeck? The actual library of the SteamDeck may be smaller than the one of Steam.

Look, there is a lot of subjectivity here. For me Switch doesn't feel as good as a 3DS as a mobile console, as the 3DS I could (and did and do) put it in a pocket in my jacket or trousers. With Switch I put it in my backpack and also use a carrying case. That is already a loss of ergonomics in my book. SteamDeck is even bigger?
