For me, Smash games were always about the novelty as I didn’t find the gameplay interesting or satisfying - I’m more of an RPG guy. I thought it succeeded quite well with the Subspace Emissary mode, which fused a number of different worlds into one. It was also the first Smash Bros game to open the forbidden door, and let in Solid Snake and Sonic the Hedgehog.

For me, the other notable Smash game is the original N64 game that first pitted Nintendo characters together in a fighting game. The only other one I feel notable is the Wii U game which brought Link vs Cloud - which is a very big deal for someone who was admittedly an over obsessive Nintendo and Squaresoft fan and right in the middle of the online drama of the rivalry in the fallout of the splitting of the two companies.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
