PS5 has been falling behind the PS4 due to the shortages. I wouldn't be too surprised if shortages don't improve the PS5 doesn't retake the lead over the Switch this holiday.

I was thinking more long term, as I expect the chip shortage will still be raging this holiday. Like, when we reach year 4, when the Switch went into hyperdrive, will the PS5's supply have improved enough by then (end of next year/2024) that it can avoid being left in the dust as PS4 was.
