Strangers of Paradise flopping is no surprise, such a bizzare mish mash of styles and directions. This being the supposed origin story, the game really should of been developed in-house by Luminous productions and prioritised over forspoken.
As a die hard final fantasy fan I should be all over it, but its an easy skip. Aweful character design, writing, graphics... although the gameplay is supposedly solid its also not really inspiring either. Althouh this was always unlikey, in a sea of action RPGs, this would have been a good time for them to revisit ATB combat and celebrate the series' history.
