My expectations were low, and they were blown out of the water. While not the best Direct ever, this was better than a lot of E3 Directs and Directs in general.

Force Unleashed; Really surprising. Interesting that they're porting the Wii version instead of the 360/PS3 versions.
Switch Sports; RIP Miis. Nintendo mostly wants them reserved for user icons. I'll try out the Online Test Run this month.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Patiently waiting for a new Fire Emblem game. Only put a few hours into the first Fire Emblem Warriors. Might skip this one.
Metroid Dread updates: Cool. Maybe I'll get the game at some point and play on casual.
Kirby: Still looks really good. I plan on getting it this year.
Mario Strikers: Only two games in this series until now and it's been left dormant for 15 years. Finally getting a third installment and I will get it.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC: Considering MK8 is so old and Deluxe included all the DLC, this is surprising. I'm not expecting Mario Kart 9 very soon, unless it's cross-gen and releases in 2024 or something.
Mother 1/2: Finally added to NSO so I can replay them one day without having to use my Wii U Virtual Console downloads.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Aw yeah! This was heavily rumored, so it wasn't surprising. I was expecting them to slap us with a Holiday 2022 release date, but we already have September. I hope it makes that date. I love Xenoblade Chronicles.
