The move here is genius. It's almost too perfect. It's as if SNY knew Activision was going to be acquired by MS/XB.
Here's just a small visual appetizer.
Think of the casual gaming audience. Think of (long time) XB fans. Think of (long time) Activision fans.

What's it say on the bottom of the box? Same as the title screens at the start of these games?..
'SNY is screwed' they were saying. 'MS will just outbid them no matter who they try to acquire', they said.
Well now...
SNY buys one of the biggest, best known studios, who left MS, and Acti, and would rather join PS instead of go back apparently.
Hmm...
$3.6B may seem high, but not only is SNY buying a name here, they're acquiring XB's and Acti's once prized possession. Their golden goose.
Not only that, but MS's $70B purchase just got silenced by a $4B purchase. If that isn't strategy at it's finest, I don't what is.
Not to mention Bungie is making plenty of money, and should have "Matter" on the way at some point besides just Destiny.
I wonder how long this stays on GP if SNY isn't doing their own version? Even if they are, what sort of benefits do Spartacus subs get over GP subs?
I wonder whether or not COD will go exclusive or remain multiplatform going forward, along with any other past multiplatform franchises?
I figured SNY would do something, but Bungie wasn't on my radar as they made it clear they wanted to be independent, or so they said.
