I forgot to mention dedicated online server for first party games like Super Mario Maker 2. Do we really buy Nintendo Switch Online for P2P online service, just like with Wii U? I mean, the versus mode is just laughable with 5 fps in 9 out of 10 levels. Mario Kart 8 runs even worse online with a ton of lag compared with Wii U. The next Nintendo system must have an ethernet port, just like the OLED model dock.
And stop releasing games digital only and then physical a few months later like with Game Builder Garage in Europe. Fooling your customers won't work for a long time. I actually don't buy digital only games on release date anymore, exactly for this reason. I would have bought Cuphead or Ghosts 'n Goblins already, but I know there will be a physical version someday.
