The OP is correct, if all you care about is the Matrix universe itself.
If you care about the deeper meaning behind the films, it's definitely worth the watch.
Resurrections is way, way, more blatant about the underlying messages in the movies ties to our reality.
It does not have the same feel and style as the OG trilogy. It doesn't have the same high level of action and fight scenes. It does however go deeper, in a clearer manner, into the underlying message of the movies.
Passing on it, is taking the blue pill.
Watching it, is taking the red pill.
The Matrix is one of my fav movies of all time. The OG trilogy is up there as well, though the second and third aren't nearly as good.
After my first viewing just now, I actually kinda liked Resurrections. I certainly don't agree it's bad, but it is different.

PS5 - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.
PRO -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
