As low as the death rate for those two were, it's far lower with omicron, where the vast majority who have any symptoms (which itself is a ridiculously low number) are no worse than a cold. Omicron, days ago, was already 70%+ of new cases, probably higher now. Now they are saying those who get omicron may develop a super immunity to all COVID-19 strands. All this adds up for a very favorable situation for an exciting new release.

I would only say Resurrections is bad, if looking at it from the perspective of the Matrix universe itself. If you look at it from real life and the deeper messaging in the films, then it's actually pretty decent.
