For me, the best I've played so far are Monster Hunter Rise, Sniper Elite 4, Warframe, and Splatoon 2. All felt smooth and intuitive and made aiming a breeze.

Gyro was the least of that game's problems.

Anyways, I'd say Splatoon 2 off the top of my head. Inconceivable to play it with analog aiming.

Their focus on gyro, rather than other features, is what caused the other problems, is what I'm saying.

I'm with mzuzek, I felt the real problem was the dual screen gimmick. If you got rid of the gyro or made it optional it would still be a bad game.

There's no reason you can't have gyro controls in a good game; see MH Rise or Splatoon 2 or Doom 2016/Eternal.

Bet with Liquidlaser: I say PS5 and Xbox Series will sell more than 56 million combined by the end of 2023. (And over 130 million lifetime)
