War of the Worlds, Season 2
Far out do I have mixed feelings on this series! As a massive fan of the source material, I was initially very disappointed by how little it has in common with the book it takes its title from. Honestly, it probably should've used a different name. Some of its ideas are brilliant, but a lot of the time I found that the ways in which it diverges made it less interesting.
All that being said, the way it ultimately ties together in the last two episodes of season 2 was genuinely cool, and although the loss of a particular character was a shame, I was impressed by the show's boldness in going where it does.
Now that I hear a third season is in the work's, I'm intrigued to see where it all goes from here.
