The way to get rid of it is if everyone locks down for real, at the same time, for 2 weeks. Covid gone. However that kind of coordination on a global scale proves to be impossible for the human race. New Zealand is the only place that managed to pull it off by actually being strict at the border. However I see they have fallen as well now, people simply don't listen. (There's still a chance they make it, not holding my breath, Australia is still going up) So China is the last place where people are made to listen :/ They have outbreaks, they lock everyone up in the area, outbreaks die quickly. |

Ontario's Ministry of Health reiterated that sentiment this week, denying that the province was working on a vaccine certificate program. The update comes just hours after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called on Ford to “step up” when it comes to vaccine certificates. |
There's no way to lockdown in any manner where covid will die off entirely, especially if pets or wildlife can contract and spread it. The coordination problem just proves that the people on top worldwide are either idiots or up to no good. Neither are acceptable.
You can't keep pushing global warming while constantly contradicting yourself (not you). People see this and assume you're either a liar or have an agenda. Just like how you can't push a pandemic while letting record numbers of immigrants into your country. People see this and assume they're leadership are either idiots or being nefarious. Any of this going on just leads to even bigger problems.
More useful healthcare I don't think many would argue with. Being short on beds seems like it's been way to common of a problem most places for a very long time. More transparency into treatments and why they aren't being offered or held back, and whether they should be available or not, is something that could be greatly beneficial as well.
Yup. I'm not sure whether this is just Ford playing politics or not though. Last election Sheer was constantly barking at Ford to go hide because they thought he was losing votes for them, which was nonsense, Scheer just sucked, period. Ford has been staying out of the limelight lately yet has been somewhat more liberal as of recently, which fits nicely with Mr O'Toole and his campaign. If it's not that, then things are mostly going to plan and the reset is still in play. Hopefully it's just politics for now. Papers please, is not something many will tolerate for long, especially those who had no choice but to fight covid early on and are now naturally immune. Trying to segregate, especially the immune, is a recipe for serious trouble.
Not sure what Trudeau was thinking calling an election now. Only thing that makes sense to me is his party is pretty sure things are going to get much worse over the next year in which case they would lose big then, so best to take a shot now and hope for reelection, which I wouldn't be surprised they get. O'Toole is better than Scheer but he doesn't seem much better than JT. If JT loses it'll be because of negativity towards him and not positivity towards O'Toole.
