In the latest month, the gap grew in favor of the Nintendo Switch when compared to the aligned launch of the Xbox Series X|S by 120,623 units. The Nintendo Switch is currently ahead by 1.13 million units. The Xbox Series X|S has sold 5.93 million units in eight months, while the Nintendo Switch sold 7.12 million units. Month eight for the Xbox Series X|S is June 2021 and for the Nintendo Switch it is October 2017. The Nintendo Switch crossed 10 million units sold in month 10, 20 million in month 19, and 30 million in month 23. The Nintendo Switch has sold 88.14 million units through June 2021. |
Xbox Series isn't too far behind now, but once we get aligned with Switch's 2020 I have a feeling it vanish from the rearview mirror rather quickly.
