That was Reggie's doing, we in europe got these games localized. That time was the only time as a european gamer we didn't got the short end of the stick. Monolith's game prior to Xenpobla, Disaster: Day of Crisis also came to europe.

I'm a PAL gamer myself so I was one of the fortunate ones, but even here they got basically zero advertising. If they'd come out in NA at the same time as PAL and Nintendo had actively pushed them I really think it would've helped the Wii remain a relevant platform just through seeming less abandoned.

At any rate, Nintendo's gotten a lot better in this regard so it doesn't look like Switch is headed for a similar scenario.
