Which post-NES console introduced the best new Nintendo franchises?

I'd put Wii ahead of N64 frankly, on account of Xenoblade.

Xenoblade over Animal Crossing is nuts. Also the N64 did introduce a ton of Rare IP like Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark, GoldenEye (basically we can call that the birth of the Bond shooter IP) etc.

N64 also introduced Super Smash Brothers, Paper Mario, Mario Party, Mario Golf/Tennis series' as well.
