Is it really insecurity to quote people who specifically said "going to be a fun thread in a couple of years" ? Also, isn't the whole point of a prediction thread to return to it later to see how close or how far off predictions were? Anyway, the person who necro-bumped this thread was quoting themselves in self-acknowledgement of their prediction being off the mark.
