Honestly my interpretation of World Vs Rise is not that one is the main series or not, but its that the main series is split into two seperate entities.
... That being said, if rise sticks closer to the classic formula it would be obvious that world is more of a spinoff.
thats not to say a spinoff can't sell more then the mainline titles... (looks at persona, a spinoff of SMT)
