SvennoJ said: Are the states still being mocked? It's just Trump who keeps spreading nonsense. Adjusted for population for last week numbers USA: Avg 1398 cases per million per day Europe: Avg 1705 cases per million per day Not similar, Europe has already passed the USA in all measures and is growing faster. The USA is still ahead for total infections but Europe is gaining, the gap is shrinking rapidly. |
The U.S. is playing a game of heads they win, tales you lose. Trump could've went silent and hid until closer to the election when he needed to get out and 'shake hands', but we'd all just be hearing that the reason covid was so terrible in the States was because Trump tucked tail, hid, and decided to do nothing, regardless of what he was getting done behind the scenes. Any number of deaths higher than what the last admin had to deal with, regardless of transmission differences, would have been considered unforgivable by the self deemed narrators.
However, with covid, like everything, it's not over until the fat lady sings, or loses the ability to.
