What is the cost to manufacture a PS4 these days? And should Sony cut?

I feel like they never planned on dropping to 199 (becasue... inflation), but I think they planned to drop it to 249.. before pandemic hit and suddenly they were short on supply. and they certainly didn't want to ramp UP production this late into the ps4's life cycle.
