The more Nintendo waits the more people sell their Switch. Similar to the Wii and Wii U era. Long droughts and people got sick of it and just sold them off.

If as many people were selling their Switch as you think there are, they wouldn't be listed at almost $100-$300 above MSRP on Amazon.  There are more people trying to get their hands on a Switch than Nintendo can keep up with the manufacturing right now.
