I like the overall vibe of this, but I'm not particularly liking Pattinson's Bruce Wayne. He looks way too unhinged out in public, when Bruce Wayne is supposed to be his billionaire playboy mask to the world. Pattinson is looking like exactly the type of nutjob everyone might suspect of being Batman.

As I've gotten older, I realised that "Supposed to be" has really sucked the enjoyment out of a lot of things. I'm keeping an open mind. If I focussed on what was "supposed to be", I wouldn't enjoy most of the MCU or even Joker.

But that's just me.

The way I see it is that the current Batman has to evolve from somewhere.  If they are showing that scene it just could be a plot point to where Batman values start to crystallize into what we see today.  To be honest, I would think a young batman has a lot of anger and rage which is what pushed him into the role but he evolves as each new challenge presents itself.  Its what is making me more interested in this batman then just going with the norm.  I would love to see a Superman that is totally bad and bring his full power to bare if WB wants to come out with something along those lines.  Not the crybaby Superman who snapped Zods neck.
