Is it just normal to have that many TV and consoles in a home in the US?
As a european I basically think its "atypical" to have more than 2 TV's in a house.
Sure a laptop/pc for each, but that many TVs? That many Consoles? thats alot of love, you showing Xbox.

Well what would you do with old TVs?
And I'm not talking about CRTs.

I bought a 50" 3D Plasma in 2011 that still serves as the living room TV. My wife uses it alot.

I bought a 47" Plasma as a secondary TV in 2013 when I moved to Berlin. Placed it into the bedroom, so I could play games in the living room while she could watch TV.

Bought a 75" 4k TV in 2018 for my gaming room and since my wife now uses the 50" I can use the 47" TV as a secondary screen right next to my 75". What else should I do with it? It was a €400 entry level TV that was 5 years old when I bought the most recent TV, therefore without warranty. Doubt it was worth more than €50 so no reason to sell it, really.

Maybe I'll upgrade again in 5 years and if the 2011 Plasma survives until then, I will own 4 TVs in my home.

My mother recently bought a house all for herself. She has one big TV in the living room, one CRT in her bedroom and one in the guest room. She even used to have a tiny one (about 8") in her kitchen.

It's really not that uncommon.
