Yeah i did read like 15 of them. (14 main story,1 prequel)
They do have many epic moments but i would not call them amongst the best fantasy books,there is a lot of filler in descriptions and repitition but yeah that would not be a bother for the series cause if you just tie all the action together it might be great and there is content enough for that.
It is worth a read i would say if you are a patient reader
