Imagine if Animal Crossing: New Horizons released in November or December of 2019. We'd have virtually no first-party support until at least the summer. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we only end up getting a paltry 4 new first-party games from Nintendo this year (and that includes Animal Crossing). That would be really sucky, but it's looking possible.

I hope in the last years of the Switch and during the lifespan of its successor we finally reap the rewards of Nintendo releasing to one hybrid platfrom. Because we're still not there yet.

Switch 2: 120 million (was 116 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)
