More consistent what? Increasing clock speed won't do anything if the games are meant to work with the base power.

For games which are locked, a patch.

Many games run better and more consistency on Xbox One S over the original hardware and Nintendo could obviously push this further to be a notable feature but not a key selling point. Just a cherry on the top.
