Star Wars has been riding the original trilogy's coat tails for like 30+ years and I think the brand is just starting to fizzle.
The prequel trilogy was ass, this trilogy has better quality in certain areas but isn't coherent due to switching directors very individual sensibilities.
So it's basically one terrible trilogy and one very messy one. Even Mandalorian, it's really just riding the novelty of a Baby Yoda.
