After watching ch 3, The Matrix no doubt heavily influenced these movies, if there's not more to it. From the same old landline phones with the same ringtone from The Matrix, to 'Morpheus' (The Bowery King) and his underground group, to the 'Keymaker' (The Doctor) who tends to John, to 'Neo' (John) saying the exact same unforgettable line and delivering it in the exact same manner as from The Matrix. Not to mention the many lines that closely resemble lines said from The Matrix.
The movie itself was just ok. I actually find all 3 movies follow the same pattern as The Matrix, oddly enough. The first is the best, the second is good, and the third is just ok.
PS1 - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.
PS2 - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.
PS3 - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.
PS4 - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.
PRO -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.
PS5 - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.
PRO -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
