Pokemon X/Y shipped/digital numbers by December 31st, 2013 - 11.61 million
Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire numbers by December 31st, 2014 - 9.94 million
Pokemom Sun/Moon numbers by December 31st, 2016 - 14.69 million

X/Y and Sun/Moon were both comfortably over the 10 million mark during their first reported numbers and OR/AS just barely missed the mark. It's not as Farfetch'd as you think.
