Shelf space and time is not enough to determine a market. Switch and PS4 are on different segments in terms of overall price (games included), library, technology and consumer target.

How a 299$ console hasn't the same pricepoint of a 299$ console ? Which also has 60$ games in their library.

And please, consumer target is the same, minus the fact that the PS4 appeals more on teenagers and the Switch to young adults.

My bad.

I meant that games for PS4, at this point, are mostly discounted, while on Nintendo we know that they'll probably never be reasonable discounted, since everything is more expensive on Nintendo overall. It's much cheaper to build a collection on PS4/X1 than on Nintendo.

The consumer target is not the same. Never has been. Nintendo has never target the same consumers since Wii.

God bless You.

My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+

When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019
