I don't see any big turnarround. It's just Nintendo is smartly selling a mobile device with TV connection as a home console with portability. As  a mobile device they won Japan and its good as a present for kids in USA. That's why is selling so well. I woudn't compare it with PS4. It's another market. Graphics wise, power wise, you also can tell that it's a mobile device with TV connection.

The Switch is competing directly with the PS4. That's a fact. I don't know what you even mean with "another market" as they are in the same market. Video game entertainment.

Of course not.

First because PS4 is a current gen home console and NSW is a handheld, a tablet, with Nintendo games. Different types of gamers and different type of technology.

Secondly, PS4 has already sold 90m. It's going to end of life soon, not in terms of years but in terms of it almost already sold the golden number 100m and almost everyone that wants a PS4 has already one. NSW, even if it was a true current generation home console, it'd be too late to compete with PS4.

PS4 is selling great, even with 90m sold and 5 years in the market. NSW can't touch PS4 at all.

God bless You.

My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+

When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019
