Funny though, I never had a NES. I played on PC back then.

I hope you're one of the good ones.

From NES children, I hear a lot of things like:

- Games today are too easy. bla bla bla

- Difficult assists should be forbidden, kids today couln't play SMB3, bla bla bla bla

- Uncharted and Last of Us are no games, they're films .. bla bla bla

- Why do I have to install games? I don't play games that I have to wait 15 minutes to install, it should be like on nes.... bla bla bla

- Why this level of graphics? It's useless. Graphics like on game cube was already enough, the industry shouldn't be investing more money on graphics .. bla bla bla bla

it winds me up

Yeah, I'm one of the good ones.

Games are too easy: I don't think games are too easy, I just avoid the stuff that I dislike. It baffles me that some people demand to change games so that they fit their tastes.   Just play different games. Now there are more games than ever.

Difficulty assists should be forbidden: Yeah, as if I demand that FIFA and Battlefield are not for me, but if they added an OPTIONAL turn-based moveset to play, I totally would get it. Hahaha. Difficulty assists can help or destroy a game. Depends on the game in question.

Uncharted and Last of Us are movies: dunno. But there are playable movies - that suck as a movie and as a game. *cough* Tomb Raider *cough*

Game installs: Well, bad engineering.

Graphics: I remember the technical masterpieces from back then. Do you know what I play? The interesting games. Some may have pushed technical boundaries, but many didn't. The problem these days is that nice graphcis let explode the costs, which in turn leads to less and less risk for big gaming productions, which is why many of them suck. I can't understand people  gushing over graphics as if it is the only thing relevant for a game. I play games, not tech-demos. If I look at a game, I ask myself: will I still like it in ten years? Or in twenty? Because I still like games I played twenty years ago. But they have qualities that reach far beyond graphics.
