I've seen 2 different fan cuts of the movie that were actually way more enjoyable than the garbage Whedon and WB turned it into, mainly for 2 reasons: No Danny Elfman music and cut out shitty dialogue.

Lets see... to cut out all the shitty dialogue from Justice League

Naw look, if you found parts of those DCU films you enjoyed then that's cool, I know a few people who find the comedy elements of the Marvel universe to be rather grating when they want their comics to be dark and gritty but at the same time there are some movie flaws with Justice League which can't go unmentioned, from the scene being written, acted out and edited into the movie there are 2 scenes which when I was watching them I actually facepalmed and felt those responsible didn't understand the IP they had made a film about.

Aquaman in the fishing town in front of the pier full of fishermen stating that Bruce Wayne dresses up as a bat in Gotham and fights crime and when Superman is resurrected you get Lois running towards him shouting Clark while there is at the very least a bunch of cops about 5 feet from her, it was the same in Batman V Superman you had Lex seemingly knowing the super hero identity of both title characters with zero explanation, are they living in a world where the secret identity of the superheroes isn't important? It's just that another large element to the films was how Batman wanted to instill fear in the criminals of his crime fighting persona, I doubt criminals would have been quite as afraid if they were fully aware that inside the suit was just a rich kid turned CEO.

That Aquaman scene was shot by Joss Whedon, as were all the Superman scenes in the theatrical cut. Snyder didn't want everybody to know Batman's identity, that was also a Whedon thing. As for Lex knowing, he is supposed to be extremely intelligent, with endless resources. It isn't that big of a reach that he would of found out the identities of the heroes.
