Do you not find it interesting that say... If every single person who owned a ps4 also owned a switch (which obviously isn't the case as there are far more PS4 systems sold) but even in a land where everyone owned both systems, isn't it an interesting statistic that gamers would rather put down the ds4 and extra horsepower in the PS4 and instead buy the title on switch instead.
Just at people pushing a narrative that there's no reason to choose a game on switch over the same title on PS4 this should be pretty telling that that isn't the case in the real world.
Also the "Nintendo switch gamers just buy any title cos of a drought" 2 things about this. 1, the switch currently has close to 1100 games on it, machine is out for around 600 days, math will tell you about the drought I hope. And 2, if a majority of the switch users had a PS4 as well.... They could just put down the switch and buy a title like spider Man this month, that is of course, if 80% of them have not put down the ds4 to enjoy the amazing dead cells on the switch. |
I strongly disagree with using total number of games for a console as an evidence that the console isn't lacking games.
I'm not saying that you're wrong about NSW in this specific thread and discussion, but total number of games doesn't mean anything. A console can have 1000 games that are just rubbish.
God bless You.
My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+
When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019
