Does anyone still think smash ultimate is a port?

Huh? No they didn't. The main ideas for the stages maybe, but the textures and assets have been completely redone and the modes are new as well?

By your logic The Sims 4 is a port of The Sims 3 is a port of The Sims 2 is a port of The Sims; Super Mario World is a port of Super Mario Bros 3; Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire are ports of Crystal. It makes no sense
