When I said "low-balling" that was definitely a bit of hyperbole on my part, however it did have some truth. SMO sold 10 million in less than half a year, it also released early in the systems life and what mainline Mario game hasn't had great legs? If Smash Ultimate can really come close to selling 25 million, this has to have the potential to at least sell the same or as high as 30 million.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold over 2 million in just last December alone and it's technically a 2014 game never mind early 2017. So I think 20 million is a lock by the end of 2019, and that's only it's 3rd year.
