This is why I'm hoping to see him return Vs Thanos, because he could have a full on fight with him to try to get his Mind Stone back even if Vision is just a combination of Jarvis/Ultron and Vibranium  in part 2

I'm not saying he should have done more. If anything, he just shouldn't have been in that movie (along with Wanda), but they needed those two to 1. make the conflict more relevant by having more characters, and 2. develop a relationship and have more screen time in an attempt to make the audience care more about them before Infinity War. It shouldn't be weird that those two were essentially a non-presence in the airport battle, but it is because they could have nullified each other instead of doing nothing. And of course, when Vision tries to stop Cap from getting to a plane by dropping a fucking tower in front of them... lol.

Might have been a better idea for them to rethink the scene and leave them out of the airport battle altogether? Just have Hawkeye turn up to the Avengers building and get declined by Wanda to leave and join them, I understand she didn't like being under house arrest there, but they could have tried to evolve their relationship at the Avengers building instead... maybe have Wanda show vision the fighting going on without them there and have her convince him that sometimes you just have to fight... I dunno but think they might have suffered for the sake of showing up at that fight just for the sake of getting all the Avengers there to that fight for trailer shots or posters....

It did look awesome though...
