Watched it last friday and I gotta say I loved it! It easily surpassed my expectations. I don't consider myself a fan, and I certainly don't understand some things, but I'm really liking this MCU. Guardians of the Galaxy is already among my favorite franchises ever, and I'm really liking the new Spiderman (it's very fresh and fun in a good way). Doctor Strange was another movie I liked too.

Anyway, I still need to complain about some things. It's nothing major, just things that bugged me a bit. One of those things is how Vision was handled inconsistently. I mean, he seemed powerful on other movies, but on Infinity War he looked like the weakest of the bunch (Wanda seemed inconsistent for me too). He couldn't keep with the black order guys at all and had his ass handled to him the whole movie by ANY enemy. I mean, wtf? Isn't he supposed to be powerful since he has an infinity stone carved on his head? O.o He should be able to at least put up a fight.

It was made clear at the beginning of the movie that Vision is "evolving", and this evolution is essentially him becoming more human. I think it makes sense if he's starting to become more human, that he feels different kinds of emotions and feels more at comfort with the world, he'd let himself be affected by things more easily and not be able to make full use of his powers as easily.

Also, the Black Order dudes basically had an "anti-Vision" spear because plot, so, that.

Anyway, nice to see someone coming into this franchise more recently and really loving it. I must say it's hard to not love the MCU right now, every single Phase 3 (2016 on) movie was great, and they just seem to keep getting better and better too. Did you see Black Panther?

Yeah that spear which he was stuck with at the very start stopped him from being able to phase like he had done in all his previous appearances, the damage from it sticking through him also remained on his body right up until his death at the end, you don't see damage which sticks on a character for 2 hours of a movie unless they're making a point of "this shit hurt him". That's what I took from it anyway.

Gotta say.... I'm loving some of the memes this movie has generated.
