Ya im kinda worried the same thing will happen to the Switch eShop in a few years. In 1 year they have close to 500 games on the eShop and the frequency of releases is increasing so by year 3 or 4 it will probably have like 2000-3000 games.

One thing that gives me hope though is if Nintendo continues doing their Nindies Directs a couple times a year so the higher quality releases get some exposure.

Remains to be seen how things turn out. Right now there's enough room on the Switch for most good indie games to thrive, but that could change as more games get released.
