The DS Sold 14.43 million consoles in 405 days

The PS2 sold 14.95 million consoles in 483 days

You forgot the 3DS, it sold 15.03 million consoles in 308 days.

• 15.03 million / 308 days = 4880 consoles per day on average
• 14.86 million / 303 days = 4904 consoles per day on average

Very close so far, and the Switch had the advantage of the global launch.
