That's a good way of describing it actually, Botw's freedom, lack of hand-holding, and highly interactive world is a refreshing antidote to sandbox fatigue.

Yes, indeed it is. It's truly a blessing right now. It's all I am playing right now. LOL I dont know how any other open world game is going to suffice after this. The only other open world games I can stomach at this point are the Witcher and Dragon Age. So far this game is in my top three with Shadow of the Colossus and Last of Us for best game of all time.
