Time for a quick mandatory first impressions thing from fall season
Houseki no Kuni.
If you think genderless characters with a lean on female design and VAs in classy suits with swords is enough to win me over... you are right. CG show with some decent flow and fluidity and with a decent premise and cast already, this is one I'm really interested to follow.
Juuni Taisei. I like battle royale type shows, nothing else to say really. Hopefully is not shit like Mirai Nikki, that is all I ask.
Konohana Kitan. If anything I was interested in the show out of respect for the author of the manga refusing to add a male mc for the magazines she was trying to get her manga in, till it was eventually taken without modifications, is the usual cute, feel good show with a girls only cast, pretty decent animation and designs, def a keeper with some tender moments already.
Love Live Sunshine S2.
Nuff said.
Osomatsu-san S2. Still as hilarious and ramdom as the first season, which really I can't ask anything more than that.
Pingu in the City. AOTY NOOT NOOT.
Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou. Pretty surprised with this one, the slow start sets up a good atmosphere and has a lot of subdued and small touches that makes the moments between our main characters stand out, the music is great and the art is also pretty good, while simple on the character faces, everything else pops out great.
I'm a simple man and this show def caters to my needs so far.
Two Car. I'll reserve judgement on this one, looks generic so far, could be a decent time sink to shut my brain for a while, but there were certain things that worried me, tho that is also from some traumatic experiences with past shows, but in general I don't have much to say about this one.
Urahara. I need another episode to fully grasp it, but I'll say the cast is really fun so far and the art direction is good.
And I'm still preparing my heart before jumping into Yuuki Yuuna S2, is gonna be quite a ride even if we know how the first half will end.
