I really don't see what the fuss is about. There's nothing truly unique about BotW other than that it's a Zelda game. Maybe that'll do it for some people. Okay, maybe the puzzles. If you like puzzles in your RPG, which I don't because they feel out of place and immersion breaking.
So basically, if those two things are your cup of tea, I guess it just doesn't get any better than this game. If not, there are numerous other sandbox RPGs that do everything better.
